The CL2-A is a fully automatic, floor mounted and electrically operated riveting
machine, designed for use in O.E organisations or larger workshops engaged in volume refurbishment of brake or clutch linings.
The machine is capable of setting semi or fully tubular rivets from 4mm to 6.3 mm diameter and whilst it is a relatively simple to run differing rivet diameters by using a variety of hopper wheels & slide rails, it is normal for it to be tooled for one diameter
only, due to the large volume nature of the operation. Rivet length variations are easily effected by up or down movement of the lower anvil.
Rivets are fed by a driven hopper barrel and slide rails, then located individually by means of a shuttle device into custom sized jaws where they are now ready for assembly.
