CLEVTEC CL2-P PNEUMATIC RIVETER

The current CL2-P machine provides fast, quiet trouble free riveting. The design incorporates improved methods of work height adjustment and waste rivet collection. The machines meet the requirements of those engaged in brake and clutch relining in
busy relining depots, heavy transport and P.S.V. garages where the range of work may
include car, light and heavy commercial applications.

No castings are used in the basic construction of this machine and the resultant fabrication is exceptionally strong. The pneumatic cylinder mounted at the rear of the head is connected to the downward moving punch holder by a simple leverage
giving a riveting stroke of 20mm.

The foot pedal can be mounted either for left or right foot operation. The CL2-P is capble of de-riveting new linings in place using the full range of semi & fully tubular rivets encountered in the brake relining trade i.e. up to and including 10mm (3/8”) diameter rivets.

Change of tooling is quickly effected, riveting punches being located and retained by a spring loaded ball in the top tool holder, extractor punches being retained by a grub
screw.

The lower work support is used without any further anvil for rivet extraction purposes and in the riveting process accommodates the various sizes of anvil. Quick adjustment for variation of rivet length is achieved by turning the hand wheel.
