Designed specifically for the powered riveting and de riveting of brake shoes and
linings used in the commercial vehicle aftermarket. The CLVA5000 offers an extremely cost effective option for smaller workshops, whilst at the same time providing flexibility within larger organisations, as an addition to their bulk production plant.
The CLVA5000 is used particularly in re-lining depots, heavy transport & P.S.V. workshops, garages or major manufacturers.
The tooling supplied allows for riveting of parts across the full range commercial vehicle brake shoe de-riveting and re-lining for light & heavy commercial vehicles. The machine is specifically designed for ease of use having a counterbalance support for the riveting gun which enables operators to rivet and de-rivet brake shoes quickly and efficiently with the minimum of training.
The CLVA comes complete with all the necessary tools for riveting and de riveting the most popular sizes of brake shoes. An inbuilt electrically driven hydraulic system provides the power to rivet and de-rivet. The pressure is adjustable depending upon the diameter of the rivets being set/extracted (the machine comes equipped to set 6mm,8mm and 10mm brake lining rivets). The brake shoes are located on a movable table and different brake shoes can be accommodated very quickly using the adjustable fixings provided.
It is hydraulically powered from an electrically driven hydraulic pump. As it is self contained, it only needs to be connected to a suitable electrical supply in order to get it up and running.
